The King of Shreds and Patches

During an attack by some of Mother Brain's aliens, Kevin was accidentally knocked into Garbage World. When Samus tried to follow him using a cheap Space-Time warp, she found herself 15 years in the future. With Kevin lost in Garbage World, Mother Brain had taken over Videoland, destroyed the Palace of Power, and Lana was missing.

Kevin, blaming himself decided to stay in Garbage World and became the king. After the arrival of Samus, Kevin was persuaded to return to the past so that those events would have never happened.

Samus uses her device to go back to the present and catch Kevin, meaning that the future version of him, the version that made Samus his queen, would never come to be.

Comments/Clarifications:

There a few minor time paradoxes, but those almost can't be avoided when dealing with time travel so we'll overlook them as well.

He's never referred to as Future Kevin in the comic, but I felt this alternate version deserved his own specific entry.

It's also worth noting that he was very much a product of the late 80s and early 90s, becoming a haunted tough guy with a headband and few days growth of stubble on his face.
