Alan Bates is the idea man. It was his idea to get everybody together and form this site and the forum that goes along with it. He's either a genius (not likely) or a madman (most people bet on that one). He gathered and employed the various people who work here and basically runs things, despite the fact that he has no real talent, skills, nor clue what he's doing. Kage is the guy who directly controls the site, handled the finances, and started it. Rather mysterious (he doesn't post much), there are rumors floating around to his real identity. Some think that he's the guy who killed Jimmy Hoffa, others say he's just some Tyler Durden figment of our imagination. Still, whoever he is, we thank him for it.


King-of-Storms designed most of the graphics and tweaked the layout of the site. He used to be one of the most active staff members we have, though lately he hasn't shown himself. I would say something funny about him, but frankly, he scares me.


Laurie Kelley (aka Lady Icarus) is one of the people who first started to work on the site and got things off the ground. She's also one of the people currently helping to maintain the site (on those rare occasions where she actually does her job). A good deal of the current layout is based on her work (which, admittedly, was inspired by the others).

Tuxedo Mark (aka Mark Moore) is the guy who unofficially helps spot errors in the various articles and reviews. He also helps supply us with images for the site. Despite his radical views and lack of decent writing ability, he's not the Anti-Christ as some people might have you believe. Just ignore that birthmark shaped like a 666.


MikePB, otherwise known as "The Geekmancer", is currently doing site updates in between updating his own sites and his day job where he updates web sites... yeah, he pretty much lives and breathes code.

Forum Staff:

Devilbuster is the guy who has started the forum and is in charge of it. He doesn't post often, doesn't say much when he does, and doesn't know what he's doing, but we love him anyway. We have yet to figure out why he hasn't been fired yet.


Red Silvers is one of the most active members in the Captain N community. He handled most of the technical stuff on the forum and was responsible for all the graphics you see there. If I paid the guy, I'd offer him a raise.


MechaMage is ... ummm... errr..... Actually, we have no clue what MechaMage does, but he hasn't seriously messed anything up yet, so that's good.  Unfortunately, he hasn't been seen around anywhere in ages, so who knows what mischief he's up to?
